Stains & School Uniforms

Have you ever stopped and looked at your children’s uniforms when you’re doing laundry and thought “how does this even happen?” Every morning you send your child to school with clean clothes and it feels as if they have purposely gone out of their way to make their uniform as messy and stained as possible.

Between September and July, you will probably spend a lot of time trying to remove all these difficult clothes stains and messes: from PE to art, there is the potential for stains and mess to be made around every corner and down every corridor!

At the end of the school day, it’s best to make sure your child takes off their uniform as soon as they get home so they are more comfortable and the clothes are in the laundry basket ready for the next wash.

Here is a list of the most common school stains that you may regularly find on your child’s uniform and solutions on how to get rid of them. However, be assured that Resolve® can remove dried in stains up to seven days old, so, not only is your laundry easier, but you can also leave it until later in the week…

Grass Stains

The long green streaks down the trouser legs and arms is a familiar sight to us all. Whether it’s from PE or skidding on their knees while playing with their friends at lunchtime, grass stains are bound to happen. Look on the brightside, at least you know they have spent their day being active and enjoying themselves!

Ink Stains

Unless your child is using a pencil, there is always a chance for an inky mess on their uniform by the end of the day. This can seem like a daunting one but rest assured, if your child can get it on them, Resolve® can get it off. See how Resolve® can help remove ink stains from clothing.

Dirt & Mud Stains

Children always seem to find the dirtiest and muddiest places to play, whether it is in the back garden with the dog or in the playing field at school. Be sure to let the mud dry, allowing you to scrape off any excess dirt before treating mud stains with Resolve®.

As you can see, it’s no wonder the kids come back home with their uniform splattered in all kinds of stains. They might not be completely avoidable, but they are removable. With Resolve®, you can remove the toughest of stains, even if they are up to seven days old meaning you can stay on top of your weekly clothes wash!
