Red Wine Stain Removal

Red wine stains are notoriously difficult to remove, and while there is some merit in traditional stain removal techniques, Resolve® stain removal can make washing away red wine easy. So don’t let a spill ruin your evening and use Resolve® Carpet Stain Remover Spray, which can help remove tough carpet stains from your floor. Take a look at some simple steps to red wine stain removal:

Quick Steps

As soon as a glass or a bottle has been spilled, dab away the excess wine with a damp sponge or clean towel. This will help clear away any extra wine that could set in, and you will have less to remove later. Then, pour a little water on the stain to help dilute what remains, all the while blotting to get more of the stain out. Eventually you will bring out less and less from this process, so it’s time to bring out the real solution.

Stain Removal

With Resolve® Carpet Stain Remover you can quickly remove carpet stains. Before use, ensure that you test on a hidden area of the carpet to check colour fastness, and allow the area to dry to ensure there is no change. Spray Resolve® directly onto the stained area, and rub in gently with a damp cloth. Leave the spray on for up to five minutes before blotting off the residue, and then follow up by vacuuming the area. Simply repeat the process until you are stain free.

No Resolve?

Don’t worry if you don’t have Resolve® on hand; you can still apply the above steps even if the stain has dried in. For added stain removal, pour salt onto the stain as quickly as possible, which will soak up the stain. Limit the salt from going anywhere other than on the affected area. Then, blot the area with a paper towel dampened with water. This should help draw out more of the excess than just water, but you will still need Resolve® to finish the job.
